Clipboard Extender keeps the history of all text being copied to the clipboard. User can put a previous entry back on the clipboard by just opening the list and selecting that entry.

Number to the right of the list designates the total number of entries in the list.

The button to the left of the list is the Lock/Unlock button. Locked entries are the ones that will be saved when Clipboard Extender gets closed and will therefore be available for later use.

Clipboard Extender's window can be sized horizontally to a desired size and positioned anywhere on the screen. Both size and position are saved for the next session.

Right-clicking on the number field brings up the context menu:

Reset - removes all unlocked items,
Cleanup - removes all but a certain (user specifiable) number of unlocked items (locked items are always preserved),
Hotkeys - three different system-wide hotkeys can be specified:
          1. Previous - returns previous item back to the clipboard,
          2. Open List - opens up the list of items and gives it focus,
          3. Lock - locks/unlocks currently selected item
Close - closes the Clipboard Extender (all locked items are saved others are deleted).

Hotkeys feature allows users to work in one application and manage text on the clipboard without having to go back to the Clipboard Extender's window.
