Hotkeys

Each command can be assigned a system-wide hotkey. This allows any command to be executed by pressing a specified key combination while working in any other application.

There are two ways to associate a command to a hotkey:

  1. In the list of commands, right-click on the command and select Hotkey... and, in the dialog that comes up, press the desired key combination and then press OK.
  2. From the main menu select Options->System-Wide Hotkeys... and the dialog pictured below comes up. In it users can:
    a) Add new hotkeys by either double-clicking on an empty row or selecting New from the context menu,
    b) Delete existing ones  by either pressing Delete key or selecting Delete from the context menu,
    c) Change existing hotkey by either clicking on the hotkey or selecting Change Key Combination from the context menu and then pressing the desired key combination.

NOTE: The first way allows the use of Windows key (WIN) while the dialog does not support it (although it will display it correctly).
