Note - which explains what the event is, like "Nick's birthday".
Remind me

Specific time - specify the time of this event (if applicable),
Set alarm - if you wish Qubit Master to alert you of the event at the specified time,
Execute task - specify any of the available Qubit Master commands to execute at the time of the alarm. NOTE: Only commands from the common package are available (since Reminder events are not user specific).

When finished, press the "REMEMBER IT" button. Do not forget to save the changes before leaving Reminder.

Calendar

Marks pending events in yellow and current date in red. Pending events are hot-tracking i.e. putting cursor over them displays the event in the main window.

Miscellaneous

This section describes several advanced features of the Reminder application:

1. Atom icon: Just notice that if you do any changes to your data without saving them, the atom becomes "radioactive" i.e. its nucleus starts to blink.

2. Save on exit: If you try to leave Reminder without saving your data you will be prompted by the question whether to save the changes made or not. If you made no changes this question will not appear.

3. Status bar notification pane: On the right side of the status bar there is a pane which Reminder uses to present additional information to you. When you open Reminder it will find the number of events that are up for that day (and that day only i.e. disregarding advance notice) and it will inform you about this in the pane using "#<of events>-Today" format. After that, as you work with Reminder it will inform you of the "mode" in which you are at any point. If you are listing through Periodic (One-Time) events the pane will say "Periodic" ("One Time"). If you are in the search mode (i.e. listing through the results of a search you made) the pane will inform you of the number of matches found. Finally, if you are in the edit mode (i.e. you chose to edit a certain event) the pane will read "Edit Mode".

4. Date formatting: Since there are two conventions on how to write a date (month/day or day/month) there is an option in the "Settings" menu which lets you toggle between the two. Note that Reminder will memorize your last choice and implement it the next time you use it.

5. Calendar limits: Please note that all the dates that are used in the Reminder (including those displayed by the calendar) are limited to the range from January 1970 to December 2037. Also note that the "Smart calendar" feature is limited to showing only one event for a given date (one-time events take precedence).
