Groups of Commands

When editing commands the following dialog opens up:

Fields common to commands of all types

Fields specific to 'Group' commands:

Advanced (Localize to) - exactly the same as for 'Inserting Text' commands.

Sequence of Commands list - specifies which commands should be executed and in which order. Only uniquely recognized commands are allowed into the list. However, since in-place editing (with relaxed restrictions, for advanced users) is available, unrecognized commands are colored red while non-unique commands (i.e. the ones for which there are several matching commands) are colored blue. Commands from the list can be: deleted (by selecting them and pressing Delete button), moved up (by pressing 'Num -' button on the numeric keypad) and moved down (by pressing 'Num +' button on the numeric keypad).

List of matching commands -  lists the commands that match the text in the New command edit box. Double-clicking an entry (or pressing Enter while it is selected) will place it into the New command edit box.

New command edit box - specifies the command (by name) to be added to the group. As characters are added, List of matching commands dynamically changes. Once command is uniquely recognized (not necessarily finished) it can be added to the group by clicking the arrow button or pressing the Enter key. Status bar displays information on whether command is uniquely recognized, non-unique or unrecognized.

Group Helper commands:

Are available to extend considerably the flexibility of the group commands. Once they are included there is little that cannot be done by a single group command.
